The JRF-Institute DST - Entwicklungszentrum für Schiffstechnik und Transportsysteme e. V. is delighted to announce the next Autonomous Inland & Short Sea Shipping (AISS) Conference, taking place on 16–17 March 2027 at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany, once again integrated into XPONENTIAL Europe 2027.
Following the successful integration of AISS into XPONENTIAL Europe, the conference will continue to provide a platform for scientific and practical exchange on automation in inland and short sea shipping, bringing together researchers, industry experts, technology providers, authorities, and other stakeholders from the maritime sector.
AISS 2027 will offer:
- Two days of scientific and practical exchange focusing on automation in inland and short sea shipping
- An additional third day dedicated to maritime sea automation within the XPONENTIAL Europe conference program
- Full access to the XPONENTIAL Europe 2027 exhibition and conference on all three days, from 16–18 March 2027
- Live demonstrations, including automated demonstration rides on the Rhine with NOVA and demonstrations of a water-based survey drone
- Numerous opportunities for networking and exchange with experts from the maritime automation and autonomous systems communities
